You can work the miniature lamb from the chart shown above or you can download a printable pdf (acrobat reader) version of the miniature lamb chart.
Work the outlines of the lamb first (the grey outlines) then fill the main body in with white stitches or cross stitch, or work the head, legs and tail in needlepoint or cross stitch and fill the body with loose French knots as shown on the introductory page. You can also change out the colors to make brown, beige, or black lambs using the same chart.
The lamb shown in the sample was worked on 32 count lavender linen with the DMC threads shown on the chart. The design was worked over two threads using two strands of embroidery thread as it is shown in the photo.
