Here you can see the basting stitches on the back of the cushion backing fabric. By basting the needlework to the cushion backing fabric you will strengthen the needlework, allowing it to be stuffed for a mini cushion for a dolls house or a needle holder.

• Assemble the Materials for a Miniature Needlework Cushion
• Baste the Mini Needlework To The Cushion Backing
• The Basting Stitches Shown on the Wrong Side of the Miniature Cushion Backing
• Trim the Needlework Close to the Basting Stitches
• Prepare the Back of the Miniature Needlework Cushion
• Finished Stitching for the Miniature Needlework Cushion
• Trim the Miniature Cushion Corners
• Turn the Miniature Cushion Right Side Out and Stuff It With Batting
• Add Needles, or Use the Cushion in a Doll's House Setting
