Turn and Hem the Drawstring Channel For the Removable Lace Pillow Cover
Turning over a drawstring channel on a removable cover for a dolls house scale lace maker's pillow.

The gathered edge is turned in along the basting line and sewn in place with a hem stitch to form a drawstring channel on a removable cover for a dolls house scale lace maker's cookie pillow.

Use a needle and thread to turn over the folded edge of your removable cover and hem invisibly along the fold around the cover edge roughly 1/8 inch (2mm) in from the running stitch you sewed around the fabric disk.

Run a section of embroidery thread ,buttonhole thread or quilting thread through the drawstring channel you make as you hem, taking care not to catch it in the stitching. Continue hemming all the way around the fabric disk, leaving the two ends of the embroidery thread free to be pulled as a drawstring.
