Needlework cushions, wallhangings, rugs and samplers are available in 1:12 doll house and sometimes 1:24 dolls' house scale . Kits vary in complexity and thread count.
For needleworkers who have thread and canvas supplies in their favorite colours, some designers produce downloadable charts.
Needlework colors and designs may not show well in low resolution web photographs. To match colours for a display, ask the vendor what thread colours are used.

1. C&J's Mini Mission
Jennifer Kwong sells 1:12 scale pillow and rug kits complete with all threads/canvas and needles. She specializes in adaptations of William Morris designs and kits for Christmas stockings. 2. Janet Granger Designs
Janet Granger Designs features traditional needlework and embroidery kits in 1:12 scale for cushions, bell pulls, tapestries, carpets and samplers. She also sells needlework stands and supplies. These designs are in lovely soft colors which suit victorian and federal / georgian interiors.
3. Knight Time Miniatures
Knight Time Miniatures design 1:12 scale needlepoint kits mainly based on Celtic, Medieval or Tudor artwork. Kits are available for wallhangings, pictures, rugs and cushions. They also sell lovely kits for embroidered bedspreads, as well as materials, including 55 count linen.
4. Magic Miniatures
Magic Miniatures have petitpoint kits and charts for wall hangings, cushions, rugs and firescreens, available as kits or downloadable patterns in 1:12 scale. For needleworkers who already have inventories of thread and canvas in their favorite colours the downloadable charts are a nice option.
5. Marny Cardin
Marny is an IGMA artisan who creates miniature hand knotted rugs for collectors as well as kits. The kits come with the threads, a needle, and the design printed on a white cotton fabric and include a photo of the rug in a finished state. The rugs are worked mainly in French knots which gives them the look of a hand hooked rug. Traditional designs are available but there are also a wide range of seasonal designs, including Halloween rugs.
6. MicroStitchery
Bonnie Shoonmaker is an IGMA Fellow who produces petitpoint kits for rugs, pillows, tapestries, upholstery, Christmas stockings, slippers and other projects in 1:12 scale. Her projects range from traditional to fanciful designs. She also sells supplies and display stands. Her supplies include 24, 34, 40, 48, 58 and 75 count silk gauze fabric sold by the piece or by the yard.
7. Miniature Needlepoint
Carolyn Waldron of Miniature Needlepoint designs kits for needlepoint wallhangings, rugs, cushions, bell pulls, and pole screens in traditional designs in 1:12 scale. Most of her carpets are in traditional designs on 22 count fabric. She also sells hand turned pole screens for miniature needlepoint.
8. Mini Stitches
Annelle Ferguson is a Fellow of the IGMA and the U.S. representative for the Miniature Needlework Society. She has kits for traditional American samplers in 1:12 scale as well as upholstery and pillow pieces, all worked on 48 count silk gauze.
