Previous | Next >> Although the simplest dolls are constructed with no torso, there are times when you want to have an open necked dress or shirt on a doll, or need a doll with a particular neckline. It is fairly simple to construct a torso on an armature. This particular example shows a simple torso for a female doll. More detailing can be added if it will be viewed. Here the objective is to create a torso which will allow for several necklines, but which will not interfere with dressmaking techniques at the waistline.
