The techniques in this project can be used to make dolls house scale hand mirrors and hair brushes using backs of metal or wood, not just polymer clay. Most of us have no problem making a mirror, but brushes seem to be difficult. This technique uses an inexpensive craft store paint brush as the bristle base. You can use similar techniques for making wood scrubbing brushes. In that case you may want to drill tiny holes for clusters of brushes instead of glueing them in all at once.
If you can find suitable bristles (very fine paintbrushes) you can take this technique down to 1:48 (one quarter) scale with a bit of patience.
