Cut the Doll's Hand Blank To Separate the Fingers

Mark and Cut the Doll's Fingers Use a flexible blade clay knife, or another fine bladed knife, to mark, then cut four lines into the hand blank to form the fingers. Three of the lines should be equal distance apart. The fourth line, the one separating the thumb from the hand, should leave a slightly thicker section for the thumb. All lines should be cut the same depth (about halfway down from the tip of the hand into the main area of the hand). See the photo for reference. The cut sections should be close to the same width, but need not be exact.
