Round the Toes Round all the separated edges of the toes you cut on the basic foot shape. Make sure the toes, unlike the fingers, are slightly wider at the end than at the base.

Create Toe pads Turn the foot over and create a round circle under the end of each toe to create the toe pads. Just behind these circles press the side of a rounded toothpick into the base of the foot to create the crease in the foot pad where the toes bend up away from the base of the foot.

Create the Pad For the Big Toe Just in front of the arch create the pad for the big toe where it supports the foot. Round off the toe pad close to the center of the foot. (See the photo).

Mark the Nails Use the cut end of a toothpick or a pin to mark out the toenails, which have a blunt base. Use the pin to keep the ends of the toes round.
