Forming the arch on a doll's foot, just in front of the ankle and behind the ball of the big toe.

Create the Arch On the side of the foot where you have cut the big toe, roll a rounded toothpick under the front of the heel and behind the big toe to form the foot arch. the arch will run underneath the foot from the foot center, reaching it's highest point at the edge of the foot. Woman's feet will have a higher arch than will men's or children's feet. Children's feet will be wider, with shorter, wider toes than adult feet.

Make sure the toe area continues to be slightly wider than the area with the arch or the heel of the foot.
