Shape the Arch To begin to make feet for a miniature doll, shape the basic wedge you made in the previous step so that there is an arch just in front of the heel. You can create this arch by rolling a round toothpick under the foot in front of the heel area. The foot will be divided into three sections, the heel, the arch, and the toes.

Shape the Toe Area Press down on the front of the foot to flatten it slightly and widen it in front of the arch area. Check your own foot for reference.

Choose to Make a Bare Foot or Create a Shoe At this point you can create a shoe instead of a bare foot, by forming your shoe shape in the toe area, and adding a sole and heel under the main foot/shoe shape. Look at a pair of shoes in the right style for reference.
