Guide Review - C&J's Mini Mission Miniature Needlepoint Kits

Jennifer Kwong is a talented needlewoman, who has turned her eye for design towards creating authentic detailed interpretations of historic designs in minature. Fans of full scale William Morris needlework will delight in having designs in 1:12 scale.

Worked on 40 count silk gauze with a single strand of embroidery floss, her cushions have a wealth of scale detail. The rug designs worked in 30 count gauze are traditional designs and colors suited for many uses. Several of them co ordinate with similar designs and color ranges in cushions.

Kits come with:

  • A fine sharp needle for working 30 or 40 count silk.
  • A stretched and framed piece of silk gauze for the cushion kits, unframed for the rug kits.
  • Stitch instructions for beginners.
  • Detailed black and white stitching chart with a color key
  • Color illustration of the completed design.
  • Generous quantities of DMC floss.
  • Finishing and blocking instructions.

All supplies are included with each kit. You will need:

  • Small sharp scissors
  • A set of magnifying eyewear for those with older eyes.
