This simple divided box is seen for all kinds of purposes in full scale. The design shown here is based on an antique housemaids box, used to carry brushes, stove blacking, polish and other implements with the maid as she went about her work.
The same box is commonly found now for carrying tools from worksite to worksite, or in stables, for holding the grooming tools for individual horses.
This is an easy project which uses very simple tools, but gives you good practise for assembling a number of more complicated projects made of wood.
If you prefer, you can make this project from bookboard illustration board or mount card, using the same methods.
