These pastry stands are made from punched photo paper or lightweight card, paper trims and beads or recycled glue caps or pen tops. They take only a few minutes to make.
If you prefer, you can use a similar method and parts to make cake stands from polymer clay or air dry clay. Just bake the upper plates first and add on the trims in the second baking once the trims have something firm to adhere to.
