To finish your miniature mistletoe kissing balls, cut a length of ribbon or thread suitable for a hanger. Make it double the length you need for hanging in a doorway or from a chandelier.

Fold the ribbon in half and glue the ends, pressing them tightly together with tweezers. Set the ribbon aside to dry. If you are using thread, tie a tight knot at the base of the thread and trim the excess thread away below the knot.

When the ribbon loop is dry, dip the ends in glue and press it into place just at the back of the ribbon loop you made at the top of your ball. If you have no ribbon loop, press the glued ends as far into the center of the ball at the top as you can get them. Do the same if you are using a hanger made of thread

Set the balls aside for the hanging loops to dry. When the loops are secure, hang the balls in your display, or hang them from the hand of a doll, preferably one with an arm raised, ready to hold the mistletoe over someone's head.
