Add Leaves to Your Miniature Mistletoe Kissing Ball

If necessary use sharp scissors to trim your mistletoe ball bases to a round ball form. These look most natural if there are some loose sections of moss coming out from the ball.

Take each pointed petal you made in Step 4, or cut freehand using the instructions with the materials list, and dip the pointed end into a bit of PVA glue. Attach the petal to a strand of the reindeer moss, then immediately attach another leaf directly opposite the first on the same strand of moss.

A characteristic of mistletoe is that the leaves are all attached in pairs. Continue to place pairs of leaves randomly around the ball. Try to make the leaves stand out from the stems at an angle between horizontal and a 45 degree angle from the stems if possible. When you have leaves on all sides of the ball, set it aside to dry.
