Quick Miniature Scale Evergreen Trees From Paper Strips

To make a tree trunk for your miniature tree, begin by sharpening your dowel, pencil or other wood trunk piece so that it is pointed on one end. The point does not have to be particularly sharp, especially if you are making these trees with children. An alternative trunk can be made by tightly rolling a right angle triangle of paper into a firm cylinder. Make the triangle as long on the straight edge as you want the tree tall.
