Tiny winter trees made from natural pine cone scales are a great decoration in miniature or full size. Made from tiny painted paper hearts instead of true pine cone scales, these trees can be made miniature, with small scale paper punches, or as large as you wish with hand cut paper hearts.
Materials Needed to Make Miniature Pine Cone Scale Trees
- Kraft (brown) paper
- Acrylic Paint - I used brown and mid brown, as well as white for snow.
- Stiff Paint Brush - for dry brushing streaks of brown paint on the kraft paper
- Micro Glitter for "snow"
- Bent Nose Tweezers
- PVA (white) glue
- Sharp Scissors
