Smaller Bears Mean Larger Challenges

The challenges of making miniature animals goes beyond the fabric to represent their fur. Josephine's favorite fabric for costumes is cotton lorne as it drapes well and does everything she wants it to do for her 1:12 scale miniatures. She recommends that anyone who wants to make miniature bears invest in a pair of fine haemostats to help them with the stuffing and turning of little parts. Coming from someone who makes bears less than one inch high, this is sound advice!
