Contact Information
F.A.Q.
- Q. What is my ....worth?
- A. I'm a collector, writer and artisan but not an appraiser so I can't help you with values. You may want to check the article Assessing the Condition of a Miniature to determine what condition your miniature is in, then check current online auctions for prices of recently sold items in similar condition.
If you believe your miniature might be valuable, consult a professional appraiser.
- Q. What can you tell me about my miniature?
- A. The article How to Find Information about Your Miniature will give you information on how to search out information for yourself and learn a lot in the process!
Collectible guides and online collectibles clubs (see the Buying & Selling and Miniature Community sections of the website) are another good reference for information about particular items. Collectible guides or online reference sites will have photos you can compare to your miniature in order to help determine what it is.
- Q. Why don't you have information about .......?
- A. The world of miniatures is vast and I'm always happy to hear about good prospective links, talented artisans, active clubs or museums/collections worth visiting. Please let me know about any you would like to see on the site.
- Q. How can I let you know about my site?
- A. Please send me an email at miniatures.guide@about.com with the name and URL of your suggested site clearly identified. I'll visit the site, and if it has something wonderful to offer the Miniature Community, and fits in the categories I'm working with, I'll try to include it.
