Before you throw away all the cards, wrapping paper, and stickers take a look at items you can adapt for your miniatures. The miniature Christmas sweater pictured here uses a recycled package sticker. If you are out and about, I hope you are able to take advantage of the Boxing day sales. They are a great place to find decorative items in the correct scale for scenes, like this 1:12 scale reindeer faun. The doll's Christmas sweater design is made with the instructions for a fabric transfer made from a sticker.
The fabric transfers are the project for the second day of Christmas. You should have plenty of leftover printed scraps from cards or package stickers to turn some into fabric transfers for doll clothing. I'll have a few sewing projects coming up in the coming days which will use tiny transfers to add interest to basic clothing patterns. Have fun!
