You can use these instructions to make a winter fairy costume for almost any doll. With a modification to the shape of the wings, you can use the same instructions to make an angel costume for a doll.
As the costume is made from four way stretch fabric, like the stretch velvet used for last week's santa hat there aren't a lot of seams to sew, or edges to finish. Check local yard sales for possible fairy candidates. Made with outdoor fabrics these can go on wreaths, or be set outside for a winter fairy scene.
