Even if you don't think you can sew you can make Santa or elf hats to hang on a tree or to dress any size of doll for Christmas. I made mine using scraps of stretch velvet, and you can easily make them small enough to fit tiny dolls, like the Polly Pocket doll shown here.
A simple hand sewn back stitch will hold the pieces together, and you can sew a pom pom to match the velvet hat band. No dolls? Try making one for your favorite dog.
