Tibetan lambswool , with its natural fine fiber and loose curls, is a favorite material for doll makers and model horse customizers. If you're thinking of experimenting with it, I've laid out some things you should consider when buying it, as well as some dyes that work well for custom colors.
I'll have some photos of the dying and styling process up in a day or so when my 'dolly salon' experiments are finished! It is a fun material to work with, especially for custom coloring.
