Most miniaturists have a few headpins in their materials stash. Headpins, a jewellery finding used primarily for beaded earrings, necklaces and bracelets, often show up in instructions for assembling miniatures. Long straight pins with no point, they can be used for custom miniature hinges, or as separators for paper plates on printable miniature cake stands.
Especially decorative ones can be used as shown here, to make doll hair slides / barrettes, hat pins or scale jewellery pieces for tiny bjds or dollhouse size dolls.
