This week's project is another piece of basic furniture, a dolls house night table with a drawer which is very easy to make. You can adjust the measurements to make a simple console table two drawers wide, or use the same technique to build add drawers to the bottom of a dolls house armoire. Add a door under the support shelf for the drawer, and this cabinet can also be used to furnish a dolls house kitchen with working drawers and opening cabinets.
I'm using basswood to make the dolls house furniture as it is easily available and stands up to a bit of use. Once you have a sample made, you can improve your furniture quality with slight improvements in tools, or wood.
