Special Event For Children at the Great American Dollhouse Museum

Monday November 24, 2008
The Great American Dollhouse Museum in Danville Kentucky is encouraging children to visit over the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Wilhelmina the Giant Chicken will host Holiday Stories Friday, November 28th and Saturday, November 29th at 1:00. In addition to enjoying hot apple cider and homemade brownies children can listen to storytellers Patrick Kagan-Moore and Sean Cook read and tell favorite children's stories. Entertainment and refreshments are included in the admission price of $5 for children and $7 for adults. The Museum will be open both days from 11 to 5.

The museum is very child friendly, with a playroom containing a hands on dollhouse village which includes houses, stores, barn animals and dolls for children to rearrange and play with. This should allow the adults a chance to examine some of the more detailed collector pieces on their own if they wish.
