International Foods For The Dolls House

Friday November 21, 2008

Polymer Clay food is getting more and more realistic. While some of you create cakes I wish my bakery would produces, others are turning to local specialities. Realistic Thai street food is this month's contribution from Mimiatures. I've even linked to recipes on some pages as the sight of these wonderful foods makes me want to put my real kitchen to use.

Polymer clay is a good medium to use if you want to make original miniature sculptures. You can adjust it with additives or use different brands to suit your working style and temperature, it isn't expensive to practise with, and you can start off with only a few basic materials and tools. The new artist's range of chalk pastels, PanPastels, make it even easier to blend surface colors to bring realistic color and texture to many creations. I'm sure that miniature scale restaurants will be a big theme in the future!

I find your site most annoying, because you don’t provide links to the things you talk about. So what use is it?
