How Stainable is Elmer's Stainable Wood Glue?

Tuesday November 4, 2008

Does Elmer's Stainable Wood Glue actually accept stain? What a relief that would be for anyone who works with wood joins the size of a pin head! Short answer is not like you think, long answer is sort of.

That doesn't mean it isn't a great glue for wood, and wooden miniatures. In fact it may be just what you are looking for to assemble model boat decking, dolls house floors, or miniatures which have a lot of joins. Read the review of Elmer's Stainable Glue and decide for yourself. It is a great product for making wood projects. Here are three where it would be a great choice:

Make a Miniature Cabin Front Porch Display Shelf
Make a Bookend Display for Miniatures
Make a Simple Roombox
