Save Your Eyesight with MagEyes

Wednesday September 24, 2008

How can you see to do that? If you work in miniatures, this is a question you are used to hearing. The response is usually, I work with magnification. For a lot of people that means MagEyes, an easy to wear headband that allows you to work on tiny projects but still keep a normal eye on the dog, a child, the tools on your workbench.

Magnification isn't just for a retired person hunched over a workbench beneath a dim bulb. Good magnification makes it easy to see all those little imperfections and make your work a bit better. You can see the scratches in the metal before you paint, or learn to use a bit less glue. Save your eyes, you'll be making miniatures for a long time yet!
