Looking for Skeletons for the Fall Gallery

Tuesday September 9, 2008

It has been fun looking at the things made from inexpensive miniature plastic model skeletons that show up as Halloween decorations. My personal favorite use of scale miniature skeletons is in this You Tube video. The detail of the rowing action is amazing, especially when the boat turns!

If any of you have any photos of how you use these skeletons, please submit them for the fall challenge gallery, so others can get some more ideas. Recent Halloween displays seem to be including a lot of pirates, which is an odd juxtaposition, but one that seems to work, especially if there are lots of skeletons.

(1) Deb Peterson says:

There’s something about a skeleton that I find very funny. I just love them and can’t wait every year to get my giant glow-in-the-dark one out for Halloween.

I lived at a very old B&B for a year. There was a little closet door in one of the rooms that hid a duct of some kind. It wasn’t useful for anything else, but we didn’t want to glue it shut, so we hung a skeleton in it. Fun.
