Creating Rust in Miniature With Scenic Rust

Real rust is something I usually avoid as the owner of a British Sports Car! Being able to create rust in miniature on any paintable surface however is something I need to do to create realism in models and miniature scenes.

Scenic Rust by Deluxe Materials lets me put real rust, not a paint effect, onto plastic, resin, and any painted surface. The very fine rust shows the pitting and corrosion of real rust, without several coats of paint and texturing effects. Interesting product, especially if you love abandoned or weather beaten miniatures. When miniatures are made of materials that don't rust, like this painted wooded door from a dolls house cook stove, the rust effect helps you think the miniature is made of metal, not wood.
