Photos from the Spring 2008 Seattle DollHouse Show
The skill and creativity of miniaturists will always amaze me. The Seattle Show, always a hotbed of smaller scales, shows that people are steadily attempting smaller and smaller details. 1:24 and 1:48 were well represented, but several vendors were carrying 1:44 roomboxes, houses or even furniture (aren't laser cutters a wonderful invention!) I've posted photos of some of the exhibits. They were all wonderful, but the lighting and the crowds mean I can only post some of them. If you live in an area where you can't make it to a miniature show easily, the Seattle Fall 2007 Show the Autumn 2007 Birmingham Miniatura and the About Miniatures Community Galleries are a great place to get some ideas.
